Subaru will fully remodel the new Legacy Outback and launch it in October 2020 in Japan. At the same time, the new Legacy B4 also undergoes a full model change.
Subaru fully remodeled the new Impreza Sport / G4 sedan and launched it on October 25, 2016. The next-generation platform "Subaru Global Platform (SGP)" was adopted. With this full model change, the next-generation platform "Subaru Global Platform (SGP)" will be adopted for the new legacy outback. The body size is 4,860 in length, 1,855 in width, 1,680 mm in height, and 2,745 mm in wheelbase.
Like the current model, the engine adopts a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC 2.5L naturally aspirated "FB25" type and a new horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC 2.4L direct injection turbo "FA24" type.
