EVERYMAN's note14 / Transmission of New Design ?

January 14th, SUZUKI Motors released the news that SUZUKI developed a transmission of a new design, named "Auto Gear Shift". It is neither an automatic nor a manual transmission. They said it was adopted strong points of both transmissions. What does it mean? According to SUZUKI Motors, The new transmission "Auto Gear Shift" is the 5-speed manual transmission with an electrical hydraulic actuator that can control a crutch & a shift automatically. That means, you can drive an manual transmission without operate a clutch pedal & a shift!!
