NISSAN ATLAS
The Nissan Atlas has been produced across several generations, so used vehicles from Japan cover a particularly wide range of model codes, engines, cab layouts, and working bodies. See also: Nissan Atlas specification changes. This variety is useful for buyers who need a truck matched to a specific job rather than a single standard configuration.
The F24 generation, introduced in Japan in 2007, is one important example in the used market. Nissan offered F24 models with the 2.0-liter QR20DE gasoline engine and the 3.0-liter ZD30DDTi diesel engine, depending on specification and production period. Official Nissan specifications also included single-cab and double-cab layouts, along with 2WD and 4WD configurations. Model codes therefore differ considerably; examples include SQ2F24 for certain gasoline versions and SZ-series F24 codes for diesel models. See also: Nissan Atlas SQ2F24 with QR20 engine.
Earlier Atlas generations are also regularly found in the Japanese used-vehicle market. This means buyers should not assume that engine size, payload, transmission, or drivetrain is the same across all Atlas trucks. See also: Nissan Atlas 1.55-ton truck. Japanese used Atlas examples demonstrate this diversity, with vehicles ranging from older diesel models to gasoline double-cab trucks and specialized crane configurations.
For commercial buyers, body type should be considered together with the chassis specification. A flatbed can suit general cargo and agricultural supplies, a double cab provides additional seating for a work crew, while dump and crane-equipped vehicles serve different construction and material-handling requirements.
Before purchasing a used Nissan Atlas from Japan, check the model code, engine, payload, drivetrain, transmission, cab type, bed dimensions, and fitted equipment. Mileage, maintenance history, chassis and underbody condition, and the operation of specialized equipment should also be reviewed for the individual vehicle.
