The total cost of importing a vehicle from Japan to Zambia is not simply the vehicle price plus one percentage for tax. A realistic budget should include the vehicle price in Japan, ocean freight, marine insurance where applicable, pre-shipment inspection, Zambian customs duties and taxes, port and clearing costs, inland transport to Zambia, and final registration or licensing expenses.
