Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., Ltd. announced on February 28, 2020 that some models of the “Mercedes-Benz C-Class” have standard equipment of the safe driving support system “Radar Safety Package”.
The Radar Safety Package is an advanced driver assistance system that includes the adaptive cruise control with automatic restart function “Active Distance Assist Distronic” and the steering assist function “Active Steering Assist”.
This time, the standard equipment will be the “C180 sedan / station wagon / coupe /
cabriolet”, “C200 sedan / station wagon”, “C200 4MATIC sedan / station wagon”, and “C220d sedan / station wagon”.
Both are grades for which the radar safety package was previously set as an option, and the C-class is now standard on all cars.
