HINO LIESSE
The HINO LIESSE name covers more than one type of compact bus, making the model code particularly important for used-vehicle buyers. Japanese-market inventory includes Hino-developed RX-series LIESSE buses as well as LIESSE II models related to the Toyota Coaster. Their engines, dimensions, seating arrangements, and mechanical specifications can differ significantly.
RX-series examples include model codes such as KK-RX4JFEA, PB-RX6JFAA, and BDG-RX6JFBA. The KK-RX4JFEA is associated with the J05C diesel engine and is listed by EVERYCAR.jp with approximately 5.3 liters of displacement. Later RX6 models use the J05D; used RX6-series examples can be found with approximately 4.7-liter diesel engines. See also: HINO LIESSE BDG-RX6JFBA with J05D engine.
The LIESSE II side of the range includes XZB-series model codes such as XZB40M, XZB50M, and XZB51M. Examples equipped with Hino’s N04C diesel engine have a displacement of 4,009 cc. See also: HINO LIESSE SPG-XZB40M with N04C engine. Older HDB and HZB-series vehicles can also appear in the used market, so engine and drivetrain specifications should always be confirmed for the individual bus.
Seating layout varies widely. Many conventional passenger versions provide seating in the 20-seat range, while school or kindergarten configurations can accommodate different passenger arrangements. Some used vehicles may also have specialized interiors. Manual and automatic transmissions are both represented depending on model, year, and specification.
For buyers planning shuttle, school, tourism, community, or staff transport services, check the exact seating capacity, model code, engine, transmission, mileage, overall dimensions, and interior layout.
