MAZDA TITAN
The Mazda Titan has been part of Mazda's commercial truck range since 1971 and has developed through several generations as a light-duty commercial truck. See also: Mazda Titan commercial truck guide. Its cab-over layout helps provide useful cargo space while keeping the overall truck practical for delivery routes, worksites, and other business operations.
An important point for used-truck buyers is that Titan specifications changed substantially over time. See also: Mazda Titan generations and history. Mazda introduced its fifth-generation Titan in 2000 with an expanded cargo platform and multiple cab configurations. In 2004, Mazda launched a new Titan series supplied by Isuzu and based on the Isuzu Elf. This means buyers should identify the exact year, model code, and engine rather than assuming that all Titans share the same mechanical components.
For example, EVERYCAR.jp has listed older Mazda-built examples such as the U-WGLAD with a 3,450cc diesel engine, as well as later Isuzu-based trucks such as BKG-LKR85A and TKG-LPR85AN with 2,990cc diesel engines. See also: Mazda Titan BKG-LLR85AR with 4JJ1 engine. Japanese used Titan examples demonstrate the model's body versatility, including flatbeds, dump trucks, vans with power gates, and crane-equipped trucks. Engine, transmission, payload, wheelbase, and drivetrain vary depending on generation and specification.
This variety makes the Titan useful for businesses with very different transport requirements. Flatbeds suit general cargo and agricultural loads, dump bodies serve construction and material transport, while enclosed or refrigerated bodies can support distribution work. Crane-equipped versions provide another option for businesses that need loading capability at worksites.
Before buying a used Mazda Titan from Japan, confirm the model code, engine model and displacement, transmission, drivetrain, registered payload, body dimensions, mileage, and chassis condition. For specialized bodies, inspect the condition and specifications of the dump mechanism, crane, refrigeration equipment, or power gate separately.
EVERYCAR.jp lists used Mazda Titan trucks from Japan, allowing overseas buyers to compare available configurations and select a vehicle that matches their intended work and destination-country requirements.
