Toyota may launch the C-HR EV (electric car model) from 2020 to 2021.
Speaking of Toyota is not "EV" but "Hybrid" "PHV (plug-in hybrid)", but actually the production of the electric car has been done since before, Toyota has been using the electric car "RAV4" in the US since September 2012 "EV" was sold. However, production of the "RAV4 EV" had ended by the end of 2014. The "RAV4 EV" was jointly developed with Tesla and adopted an electric system similar to the "Model S" at that time. Since then, Toyota has not sold electric cars. However, Toyota can no longer ignore the world's expanding electric car market. In particular, companies in the Chinese and European markets are introducing new electric vehicles one after another.
Toyota plans to launch the Chinese market in 2020 and the European market in 2021.
