Woven Alpha and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC), a group company of Toyota Motor's subsidiary Woven Planet Holdings, will develop an automated mapping platform (AMP) developed by Woven Alpha on June 23, 2021. ) Was announced to start joint research.
On June 8, 2021, Woven Alpha agreed with Isuzu Motors Ltd. and Hino Motors Ltd. to proceed with the study for the utilization of AMP. This initiative with MFTBC will be joint research with commercial vehicle manufacturers that transcend the boundaries of the Toyota Group. Woven Alpha and MFTBC aim to further improve safety by researching new safety functions using advanced driver assistance technology and conducting demonstration experiments with commercial vehicles equipped with the new functions.
