It depends on the size and weight of the vehicle, the transportation method, and the transportation distance. Generally, the cost ranges from 100,000 yen to 300,000 yen.
[Procedure in Guam]
When the vehicle arrives in Guam, import taxes and fees are paid and the vehicle is cleared through customs. A Guam vehicle inspection is also required.
[Import Taxes and Fees]
Guam charges a 4% import tax based on the value of the vehicle being imported. There are also customs clearance and inspection fees.
[Estimated processing fees are as follows]
- Export inspection and handling fees: 30,000-50,000 yen
- Transportation costs: 100,000-300,000 yen
- Guam import taxes and fees: 4% of vehicle price + customs duty
