On March 23, 2022, BMW Japan made some improvements to the "BMW 8 Series" and started selling it on the same day. Delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of the same year or later.
The BMW 8 Series is the highest-end specialty model in the BMW lineup, and comes in three body types: the "coupe," "cabriolet," and the 4-door "grand coupe." The main change this time is to review the interior and exterior, and "M Sport" specification bumpers and wheels are adopted as standard on all models.
The sporty image has been strengthened throughout the model lineup. In addition, as a new grade, "Exclusive M Sport" equipped with bicolor merino leather seats, handcrafted crystal shift knobs, and panoramic glass sunroof (Gran Coupe only) as standard equipment is available.
