BMW will release a full model change of the new 3 series in 2018.
At the Paris Motor Show 2018 held from October 2 to 14, 2018, "New 3 Series" was released.
We used CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Resin) etc. adopted for the new 7 series and the new 5 series which were launched as a pioneer in this full model change
Adopt a new lightweight platform CLAR.
Weight reduction with carbon fiber, high strength steel, aluminum, magnesium and plastic Weight Weight of about 100 kg is aimed at.
The center of gravity is about 10 mm lower than the front model and the axle load distribution is balanced at 50:50.
By extending the wheel base more than the current model, we will secure wider and more comfortable interior space now.
