On February 24, 2022, Jaguar Land Rover Japan set up a special specification car "EUCALYPTUS EDITION" for the "Land Rover Range Rover Evoque" and started accepting orders for a limited number of 150 units.
Range Rover Evoque Eucalyptus Edition uses "Eucalyptus Melange Textile & Ultrafabrics PU Sheet" which is a combination of two advanced eco-friendly materials.
Eucalyptus melange textile is a natural material derived from eucalyptus certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). It has a soft texture, a beautiful luster, and is also excellent in hygroscopicity and quick-drying.
Eucalyptus is attracting attention as a plant with a low environmental load because it grows faster than other plants and grows in a small amount of water.
Ultrafabrics is also an environmentally friendly polyurethane material, with a supple texture comparable to genuine leather, and high breathability and antibacterial properties.
