Mercedes-Benz announced the new "AMG GT" "AMG GT Black Series" on July 14, 2020 and will release it in 2020. The Black Series will be a limited model.
The exterior uses a dedicated aero, and the front is equipped with a manually adjustable splitter. 4LV type 8-cylinder turbo engine (M178 LS2) with maximum output of 720 hp (537 kW / 730 PS) and maximum torque of 590 lb -ft (800 Nm). The engine is equipped with a new camshaft, various exhaust manifolds and a dry sump lubrication system. The engine also features a new ignition sequence and large turbocharger compressor wheels. Transmission 7-speed DCT is combined, 0-96km/h acceleration 3.1 seconds, 200km/h less than 9 seconds, maximum speed 325km/h. The tires are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R MO tires, which are customized for the Black series, with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear. Adopted a dedicated orange design for the interior.
